Overview
The goal of introducing a utility token (the $BANAN / $BananCoin token) with your Bored Apes Cardano Club NFT is to enable holders to engage with the broader Bored Apes Cardano Club ecosystem, and allocate $BANAN to the parts of the ecosystem that resonate best with them as individuals.
The token makes things fun. It helps to stabilize and protect the value of the NFT collection as a whole, since Bored Apes Cardano Club have to be off the market (in our staking lock-up contract) in order for you to earn and claim $BANAN. The tokenomics has multiplier incentives that favor holders with more than one bored ape, and holders that keep their Bored Apes Cardano Club NFT staked.
